Question 1: What is the Water quality you deliver?

Answer 1: Our Water quality is equal to bottled Water and permanently controlled by KEBS.

Question 2: Why should I use your Water?

Answer 2: Where Municipality Water is available, you can still not be very sure that the Water is safe for drinking. The high chlorine content is another disadvantage and not really healthy.

Question 3: Your Water is still too expensive for washing dishes! What can I do?

Answer 3: We advice our Customers to change their way of using Water by using our Water for drinking, brushing teeth’s and maybe for cooking. In this way, 10 Litre of Water should sustain a family of five and your family remains healthy.

Question 4: How can I join you network with a Water Kiosk?

Answer 4: Everybody can apply online for a Water Kiosk. Follow this Link and register yourself for one! We will contact you and decide if you can run a Water Kiosk at your premises.

Question 5: How much Money can I earn with a Water Kiosk?

Answer 5: The earning on your Water Kiosk depends on your effort to sell the Water to the community and you’re Neighbours. Generally you earn 1.5 KSH for every Litre of Water sold. A well maintained Water Kiosk Business can easily make a net profit of 20’000 to 30’000 KSH per Month.

Question 6: Why are you not running the Water Kiosks on your own?

Answer 6: It is part of our business model, that we create sustainable Jobs and mini businesses that allow you to make a nice business. You know you Neighbours better and it is easy for you to build up and maintain the market with them.

Question 7: I’m not in Kisumu, can I still get your Water?

Answer 7: It depends on where you are. We plan to build up more decentralized production centres in future. When you are close to Kisumu, you can get in touch with us and we agree on the delivery conditions.

Question 8: Can I also buy the Water directly from the production centre?

Answer 8: Yes of course. You still use the maji-app to order the Water but you decide to pick the Water with your own tanker or with a bike for smaller quantities. You will also get a reduced price for the Water when you transport on your own.

Question 9: Why do I need the maji-app to make business with you?

Answer 9: The maji-app helps us to coordinate the production and the delivery of the Water to your premises. Also the payment is automated inside the maji-app. We only accept orders using the maji-app.

Question 10: I like to pay Cash, how can I do that?

Answer 10: We generally don’t accept Cash payments. You have to use the maji-app and you pay using our MPESA pay Bill Number. Cash payments are not valid in any case?

Question 11: You worker is requesting me to pay him the Water in Cash? Is this ok?

Answer 11: NO, never pay Water from us in Cash. This payment will not be accepted and is invalid. Please report the person that requested you to pay Cash using the following number: 0723 888 797

Question 12: The delivery agent is requesting me to pay for the transport to my place; do I have to pay him?

Answer 12: NO, never pay Transport of Water outside maji-app. The delivery agent is cleared from our side, when you confirm the correct delivery using the maji-app. Please report the person that requested you to pay the deliver on site using the following number: 0723 888 797

Question 13: Can I use the maji-app also for my quality Water plant?

Answer 13: We would be happy when other people help us to cover Africa with their own Water plants. When you follow our requirements, we would be interested to offer you the maji-app against a fee for your Customers. Please register here as a production Centre and we will get back to you!

Question 14: Can you build up a production centre for me on my location?

Answer 14: Yes we can quote you our equipment and you join us with your own production centre. Please register here as a production Centre and we will get back to you!

Question 15: Are you also bottling Water?

Answer 15: We might bottle Water in future, even when we believe that the market is already taken in some areas. We focus at the moment on the bulk supply of quality drinking Water.
